Our client, a leader in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a Aerospace Sr Software Engineer to join their team. As a Aerospace Sr Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting a new initiative for the manufacturing product line. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a flexible mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Aerospace Sr Software Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $55 - $75/hr (based on experience)

What's the Job?

• Authoring and reviewing certification documents such as PSAC, SDD, and SWCIA.
• Coding in C++ at the application level for real-time operating system software.
• Ensuring compliance with DO-178C software standards throughout the software lifecycle.
• Contributing to the SURF-A Honeywell initiative and potentially other projects like Datalink.
• Collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders to meet project goals.

What's Needed?

• Extensive experience with DO-178C software standards and lifecycle.
• Proven track record of authoring and reviewing complex certification documents.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming for application-level coding in real-time operating systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards and customer-specific requirements, particularly those of Airbus.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
