Job Description

Fire Sprinkler Systems Inspector Cosco Fire Protection, Inc. is a multifaceted, full-service fire sprinkler and life safety systems company specializing in installation, service, and inspection of various automatic fire sprinkler systems, fire alarms, kitchen suppression, extinguishers, and special hazard systems throughout the West Coast. Currently expanding our service operations in Livermore, CA, we offer excellent opportunities for service-minded individuals in the fire protection and life safety marketplace. Job Description: Provide reliable, high-quality customer support through on-site inspections and preventive maintenance services on a variety of fire sprinkler systems. Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance of automatic wet fire sprinkler systems, special hazard systems, restaurant suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting with minimal supervision. Deliver front-line customer service and system inspection care. Diagnose and evaluate systems requiring servicing and troubleshoot issues during inspections. Provide solutions and recommendations to restore systems to operational condition beneficial for the customer. Qualifications: Knowledge of NFPA code requirements for fire sprinkler systems, special hazard systems, emergency lighting, hoods, fire extinguishers, and backflow assemblies. Familiarity with industry-standard tools such as inspectors' tools, testing equipment, and communication devices. Ability to complete accurate and legible paperwork understandable by others. Additional Qualifications: Ability to work in small and confined spaces if needed. Basic skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Physical ability to climb ladders, work on rooftops, and perform physical labor. Knowledge of NFPA standards. Willingness to work alternate shifts and overtime if required. Punctuality, strong work ethics, and organizational skills. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED. Driver's license with a clean DMV record.
