Graphic Designer – Packaging (Contract)

Remote | ~20 hours/week | Global Lighting Manufacturer

Are you a skilled graphic designer with experience creating retail packaging for top retailers like Costco, Walmart, Lowe’s, and Home Depot ? We're looking for a contract-based Graphic Designer to join our creative team — with the potential to grow into a full-time role .

We’re a global manufacturer of portable lighting products , including flashlights, headlamps, lanterns, and work lights. Our portfolio includes branded and licensed products that span multiple retail categories. We specialize in delivering performance, innovation, and category-leading design.

What You'll Do

Design retail-ready packaging , planograms, and visual assets for major US retailers (Costco, Walmart, Lowe’s, Home Depot).
Collaborate closely with the product development and marketing teams to align packaging with product positioning.
Adapt packaging for multiple formats and retailer-specific compliance (Costco PDPs, Walmart GRS, etc.).
Handle revisions, dielines, and final production files with speed and precision.
Work within tight retail timelines and high-volume project cycles.
Optional: Contribute to sell sheets, instructions, and lifestyle visuals.

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in packaging or consumer product design , preferably in retail channels.
Strong portfolio with packaging designed for Costco, Walmart, Lowe’s, or Home Depot .
Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign .
Comfort working on a part-time, contract basis (~20 hrs/week) .
Portfolio of work
Bonus: Experience with 3D rendering, KeyShot, or motion graphics.
