Graphic Designer IV

Location: Irvine, CA.

6 Month Assignment

Pay Rate: $58.92/hr.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer IV with a strong background in UI/UX design to join a dynamic digital team. This role is ideal for a creative professional who thrives on transforming complex challenges into elegant, user-centered design solutions for web platforms. As a Senior UI/UX Designer (Web), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual identity across our digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the creative direction and UX strategy within a collaborative team environment.
• Translate complex requirements into intuitive design solutions, from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes.
• Create visually striking key art and design elements that enhance user interaction and engagement.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of design projects.
• Incorporate company's brand identity and voice into digital communications, maintaining consistency across all platforms.
• Document design decisions and guidelines, working closely with engineers for implementation and quality assurance.
• Present and defend design concepts to leadership and stakeholders, integrating feedback to refine final designs.
• Conduct UX research and testing to validate design choices and optimize user interfaces.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design, advocating for innovative approaches within the team.

Education and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in design or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in a corporate environment or design firm, with e-commerce expertise, is preferred.
• Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio showcasing web design proficiency.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and UI/UX design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design principles.
• Experience with design systems, atomic design methodologies, and WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate and advocate for design decisions.
• Knowledge of Google Material Design and experience with JIRA for project management is a plus.
• Experience with motion graphics and video editing tools (After Effects, Premiere) preferred.
