Human Resources Assistant - Schaumburg, IL

$20 - $24/Hour (Based on Experience)

About the Role:

As our Human Resources Assistant , you’ll be at the center of the people operations that keep our fast-paced, future-focused team thriving. From supporting onboarding and managing essential administrative tasks, to planning team events and being the go-to person for all things HR, you’ll play a key role in shaping a seamless and supportive employee experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Scheduling: Coordinate interviews, internal HR meetings, and onboarding sessions, while maintaining the department calendar to ensure everything runs with precision, clarity, and efficiency.
• Plan company events: Plan and execute department and company-wide events that foster connection, engagement, and culture.
• Onboarding support: Assist new hires with I-9 documentation, first-day logistics, and orientation — ensuring every welcome is warm and organized.
• Administrative tasks: Support the HR team with documentation, HRIS updates, compliance filing, and other essential admin functions.
• Point of contact: Manage HR email inbox, respond to basic HR-related questions timely and professionally.
• Be a culture conduit: As one of the first touchpoints for many employees, you'll represent the tone and values of our team — collaborative, kind, and forward-thinking.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in an administrative based role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in Google Suites is a plus but not required
• Previous HR experience is a plus but not required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
