Role Description
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented junior interior designer to join our team in a hybrid capacity. This is a full-time role based in Los Angeles, with some flexibility for remote work. The junior designer will support all phases of design across multiple projects, from concept development through to execution. Responsibilities include assisting with space planning, producing construction drawings, selecting FF&E, and preparing polished presentation packages. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and passionate about high-end residential design.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with space planning, concept development, and layout optimization
• Create detailed construction drawings and design documentation
• Support FF&E sourcing, selections, and specification documentation
• Prepare presentation decks and mood boards for client meetings
• Communicate with vendors and request samples and materials
• Participate in site visits and help with project coordination
• Support in maintaining project timelines and organization
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field
• 1–3 years of professional experience; experience with high-end residential projects is a plus
• Proficient in AutoCAD (or Revit), SketchUp, 3Ds Max and Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign and Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of space planning and design documentation
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative mindset with a proactive, problem-solving attitude
