Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Line Cook to join our talented kitchen team. As a Line Cook at Radici, you will be at the heart of the kitchen, working with fresh, seasonal ingredients and cooking dishes that highlight the rich flavors of our wood-fired oven. Your skills will help ensure every dish is executed to perfection, consistently maintaining the high standards that Radici is known for.
Working Hours:This position offers a 4-day work week with evening shifts. The typical schedule is Tuesday through Sunday, with evening shifts beginning in the afternoon and running through dinner service, providing a great work-life balance while ensuring you have Mondays off.
Key Responsibilities:
Cook with Precision: Prepare and cook dishes to order using wood-fired ovens and grills, bringing out distinct smoky flavors.
Workstation Management: Keep your station organized, clean, and stocked, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with fellow line cooks, prep cooks, and chefs to ensure orders are completed quickly and accurately.
Maintain Quality Standards: Follow Radici’s recipes and presentation guidelines to consistently produce dishes of the highest quality.
Food Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to all food safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times.
Adaptability: Adjust to changing kitchen needs, handling multiple orders during peak hours while keeping your station running efficiently.
Required Skills and Experience:
1+ Years of Experience: Previous line cook experience, preferably in a wood-fired or Italian cuisine setting.
Strong Cooking Skills: Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and baking.
Wood-Fired Cooking Knowledge: Experience with wood-fired ovens or grills is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right candidate.
Attention to Detail: Consistently produce high-quality dishes with care and attention to flavor, texture, and presentation.
Team-Oriented: Ability to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
Time Management: Ability to manage your station efficiently, keeping up with orders during busy periods.
