Salt & Pepper Cafe in Acworth, GA is a great place to work with opportunities to grow. At S&P, our line cooks have the important role of receiving food orders, preparing delicious dishes for our guests, and properly setting up the kitchen so every person has the product and tools easily accessible during their shift. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, has a great attitude, ambitious, and has a strong work ethic. With exceptional hours for the industry, we are open from 8am-3pm Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday 8am-8pm Saturday and Sunday 8am-3pm

Skills Required:

• Very good written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
• Ability to work as a team member
• Follow recipes and food preparation guidelines
• Working well in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

• Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare and present ordered items
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the kitchen/station on a daily basis
• Stocking of all required food, paper products and condiments
• Maintain stock, cutting and storage of all perishables daily to ensure product quality
• The ability to work on your feet most of the day
• Complete opening, on-going and closing checklists as required
• Great attitude and strong work ethic
• Working with servers to ensure orders are completed according to request and on time
