Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician at our automotive seating plant in Warren, MI. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery, mechanical equipment, and electrical systems, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. The technician will also troubleshoot electrical systems and work with Allen Bradley programming.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain machinery, motors, pneumatic tools, and conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives, and electrical conduit.
• Diagnose mechanical device malfunctions and dismantle devices to access defective parts.
• Perform modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs.
• Repair or replace defective parts, lubricate, and clean machinery.
• Start and test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment.
• Keep accurate maintenance and preventive maintenance records.
• Maintain 5S standards in the shop and work area.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with the team.
• Have the authority to stop the production line for safety or quality issues.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Skilled manufacturing maintenance experience required.
• Experience supporting maintenance in a large production facility preferred.
