The Opportunity: Mental Health Therapist
Join our dynamic Mental Health team and play a pivotal role in improving the overall well-being of our patients. As a Mental Health Therapist, you'll work collaboratively within a team-based approach, focusing on behavior change to address subclinical and mild to moderate clinical mental health conditions. You'll thrive in our fast-paced, collaborative startup environment, where your contributions will directly impact access to vital mental health services.
Your Impact:
Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, utilizing standardized screening tools to determine appropriate care levels.
Collaborate with patients, families, and colleagues to develop personalized, inclusive care plans that address diverse needs.
Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt interventions to ensure optimal outcomes.
Deliver effective, evidence-based psychotherapy to individuals and groups, adhering to treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes within our electronic health record (EHR) system and other digital platforms.
Coordinate care with community agencies and external providers as needed.
Provide valuable psychoeducation to patients and their families, empowering them to support treatment goals.
Consult with primary care providers, such as FNPs, PAs, and physical therapists, to facilitate shared care plans and provide brief interventions.
Contribute your expertise by participating in patient-facing webinars and developing training materials for colleagues.
Engage in ongoing internal training opportunities across mental health, physical therapy, and primary care teams.
Provide culturally responsive care.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with a focus on brief psychotherapy models like SFBT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
A strong understanding of therapeutic theories and interventions tailored for fast-paced clinical environments.
Experience collaborating across disciplines to deliver holistic, patient-centered care.
A commitment to kindness, support, and positivity in all interactions.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a dynamic virtual team.
Proficiency in using EHRs and digital platforms for efficient patient care and documentation.
A dedicated, professional home office space conducive to conducting virtual visits.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

Demonstrated ability to apply cultural humility.

Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active independent practice licensure in Washington State, with a commitment to obtaining licensure in additional states.
Availability to work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM PST.
