We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Permanent Project Engineer/Project Manager to join our thriving manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex projects, driving productivity, and fostering innovation in our manufacturing processes. You will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring that our manufacturing projects are executed effectively and efficiently. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in aerospace, looking to apply their skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning and execution, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
2. Coordinate with various teams to ensure that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
3. Conduct project review meetings to monitor and assess the progress of the project.
4. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
5. Evaluate and assess the results of the project, identifying areas of improvement and implementing necessary changes.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and quality assurance, to ensure project success.
7. Provide technical leadership and support to your project team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
8. Ensure all project operations are executed in compliance with safety and quality standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or engineering within the manufacturing industry, with a focus on aerospace.
3. Proven experience in project management and project delivery.
4. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety protocols.
5. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
6. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on attitude.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
8. Proficiency in project management software tools.
