Job Description

The College of Integrated Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a Recruiter (Admissions and Recruitment Coordinator II, AE084).

JOB DETAILS:

Plans, develops, coordinates, manages, and executes the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the institution's strategic goals. Represents the institution to prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body. May supervise staff and/or lead a program area.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Counsels prospective and admitted students on educational planning and career opportunities
  2. Serves as initial point of contact for students
  3. Reviews, evaluates, and responds to student applications in coordination with the admissions department.
  4. Identifies opportunities for and develops admissions and outreach events
  5. Schedules logistics and secures resources for events to promote the Institution
  6. Evaluates program effectiveness and provides recommendations for improvement
  7. Creates targeted communication plans and materials based on established goals
  8. Delivers directed admissions program messaging to internal and external audiences
  9. Identifies, promotes, and maintains internal and external partnerships focusing on outreach, recruitment, and admission
  10. Engages in extensive outreach and recruitment events, representing the university to prospective students
  11. May supervise staff and/or lead a program area
  12. Assist with SLATE campaigns
  13. Organize and deliver group presentations and tours
  14. Serves as member of solution center staff providing cross-trained coverage as needed
