Job Description

As the Senior Director, Strategic Priority Partner, you’ll partner with the Delivery Team Lead, an officer-level operating role, to develop an operating plan for the strategic workstream. You’ll shape the operating plan with the full context of our evolving strategic position and prepare enterprise leadership-level communications, you’ll deploy operating plans as decided by enterprise leaders and communicate the plan to internal and external audiences.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you’ll do

• Support the delivery lead in scoping, planning and executing deliveries
• Perform research and analysis, and make recommendations on challenging strategic topics
• Challenge the insights and recommendations from the working team to ensure the right questions are asked and alternatives are considered
• Support the delivery lead in preparing for updates for the decision team
• Act as a liaison to the coordination team to help identify interdependencies across decisions and improvements to the coordination approach

Basic qualifications

• 10 years of program management experience in the operations and procurement industry
• 5 years of supervisory or people leadership experience
• 5 years of experience collaborating with and influencing senior level stakeholders
• 5 years of experience building relationships with executives, including developing trust and influencing recommendations

Preferred qualifications

• Experience applying analytical techniques to solve business related problems
• Retail Industry Experience
• Ability to ask questions when necessary to understand a problem
• Ability to effectively manage several responsibilities at once
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to create and execute a strategic vision
