The firm specializes in tax law, representing both individuals and businesses across California, the U.S., and internationally in civil tax controversies and criminal tax matters. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in tax controversy, including federal, state, and multi-state practice. Location: Sacramento, CA Duties: Represent clients in tax-related civil and criminal matters. Handle a variety of tax controversies including audits and appeals. Provide legal advice to clients regarding tax compliance and strategy. Prepare and review legal documents, including petitions and motions. Work with federal, state, and multi-state tax issues. Advise clients on tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with tax rules. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax law, particularly in tax controversy. Knowledge of tax law, including federal, state, and multi-state tax matters. Ability to work independently and manage complex cases with minimal supervision. Strong proficiency in general tax compliance, audits, and appeals. Strong analytical and communication skills. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
