Role: UI/UX Designer

Los Angeles, CA 90017



Minimum Qualifications:


Five years of relevant work experience in strategizing and managing UI/UX projects, implementing design and enhanced user experience on web applications through design process: ability to take and incorporate feedback into design iterations, prototype development, and modification with the understanding of design principles, usability, and user-centered design.


Five years of proficiency and understanding of design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar. Knowledge of interaction design, information architecture, and prototyping. Ability to implement new design trends, tools,and technologies. Familiarity with front-end development technologies and coding languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) can be a plus.



Experience & Qualifications:

• Provide qualified resumes with detailed summary of work experience and,qualifications in the commodities or services as listed in Appendix A -MSA Work Order Statement of Work.
• Discuss the specific role and responsibility of the firm and/or resource in providing the requested services.
• Describe the education, professional qualifications, and experience of proposed key personnel.
• Submit relevant certifications, special skills, and proficiencies.The District reserves the right to request additional resumes should those submitted be deemed unacceptable for this project.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in strategizing and managing UI/UX projects (preferably in the education sector)
• Experience in strategic design of online web applications
• Experience in developing and managing the design process with project leads, focus groups, etc.
• Implementation of design solutions for complex business workflows ? Understanding of data systems and design
• Development of screen mock-ups and prototypes using interactive wireframes (low to mid fidelity)
