Job Description
We are looking to fill a bench jeweler position at our successful privately- owned jewelry store.
Responsibilities:
- Use hand tools and power tools to create, repair, and modify jewelry pieces
- Set gemstones and diamonds into settings
- Size rings, repair chains, and perform other jewelry repairs
- Cleaning and polishing jewelry to restore its shine
- Collaborate with customers to design custom jewelry pieces
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a jeweler or in a related field is preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for jewelry making and repair
- Knowledge of different types of metals, gemstones, and diamonds
- Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
-Complex/ intricate repairs and custom work
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
