Talent Source is seeking skilled and experienced Marine Electricians to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment o n marine vessels. Key Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain electrical systems on various types of marine vessels. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical equipment and systems. Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues on marine vessels. Repair or replace faulty wiring, fixtures, and equipment as necessary. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed. Prepare reports on electrical issues and repairs. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Marine Electrician. Extensive experience with marine electrical systems and equipment. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, including AC and DC circuits. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics. Certification: Relevant certifications or licenses in marine electrical work are preferred. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as needed. Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.
